Making friends is a major challenge for our special-needs children.
ASK monthly Kid’s and Teen’s social was developed to offer age appropriate monthly social opportunities to special-needs children between the ages of 6 and 16. We propose a series of stress-free, fun and laid back activities during which participants can meet other children in a friendly environment, while improving their social skills. Through this programme, ASK has given many children who may be feeling like outsiders, a sense of belonging and the confidence that they too can make friends. This programme is also meant to provide the parents respite time while their child is enjoying supervised group activities.

Outings are held in and around Geneva. We need to know who is coming to an outing, so registration is an absolute must. No drop-offs without prior registration. In addition, ASK reserves the right to cancel or postpone any event due to unsatisfactory attendance or weather conditions. Parents will be notified of any change using the mobile number they provide at the time of registration. We request that ALL parents must provide their full name, email address and mobile number as part of the registration.
We communicate through email, which is moderated by the Volunteer Monthly Social Outings coordinator, Sarah Lee, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please know that the email group is not used as a support mechanism, it is for the sole purpose of organizing the outings.
