Join us and Make a Difference
Please join us on Thursday, 21 November 2018 at our second Celebration of Hope dinner. We are very excited to share this special occasion with you in support of young adults with learning differences and special educational needs.
ASK is solely funded by donations and counts on the support of dedicated volunteers to provide the much-needed programmes and support for the parents and their children and young adults who have learning differences and special educational needs. Over the past years, ASK has been a one-stop resource for parents, schools, and specialists, working to support children and young adults with learning differences and special educational needs to meet their full potential socially and academically.
The 2019 dinner theme will focus on the ACCESS program. The money raised will provide important funding for the pilot phase of the program, which started in Autumn 2019. ACCESS is a 2-4 year post-secondary and residential (in year 2 or 3) program designed to meet the transitional needs of young adults from 17 years and up, diagnosed with learning, intellectual, and developmental difficulties. The curriculum integrates independent living skills, social communication development, and employment preparation into a functional, academic experience that supports community inclusion.
A Helping Hand
The Celebration of Hope is the occasion to reflect on the past 16 years of combined efforts. It is also a time to enjoy and to look to the future by bringing together young adults with special needs as well as the community supporting them. It is also the occasion to express our gratitude to our generous donors and to welcome future partners and contributors without whom our work would not be possible.

I am only one but still I am one,
I cannot do everything, but still I can do something,
And because I cannot do everything,
I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.
