ASK is delighted to announce two free online training workshops for teachers and other professionals on Positive Behavior Support with Dr. Deirdre Kearney. Dr. Kearney is a Chartered Psychologist with over 22 years of clinical practice supporting children, adolescents and adults who experience difficulties. Deirdre has expertise in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism and complex behavioral presentations. Both workshops will provide opportunities for questions. Registration links will be available in our December newsletter.
The first workshop will introduce the framework of positive behavior support and explores how this can be used to effectively support students in classroom environments. It will also introduce whole school approaches to supporting student wellbeing and skill development.
The second workshop will explore specific applications of PBS to support students with ADHD and ASD, as well as other specific support needs.
