Parenting Skills Workshop

Our workshop aims at building skills for parents to connect with children and dealing with tantrums, defiance, aggression, fear, attention deficit, online gaming, media consumption, relationship with peers.

Our workshop leader Katarzyna Wach offers a non-judgemental environment for parents to feel comfortable in order to share their experiences and concerns. She will guide parents to explore different ways of parenting, which has the focus on meeting the demands of the outside world and providing self-care.

Workshop objectives:

  • addressing parents’ questions and problems
  • focusing on regulating emotions during challenging moments
  • coaching -not controlling- our children
  • introducing a variety of exercises and resources for parents empowering them in dealing with everyday challenges

About Katarzyna:

Katarzyna is a social psychologist, Jungian analyst,, and a Swiss licensed psychotherapist- and a mother. She grew up in Poland, she lives in Zurich, where she maintains her private praxis. Katarzyna works with expats parents who struggle both with adjusting to the demands of the local culture -educational system- and meeting their own needs as people, parents, and spouses.
