What is counseling?
Counseling provides you with the opportunity to speak confidentially with someone who is trained to listen. It can help you make sense of the feelings you have about the difficulties you are currently facing in your life.
Discussing challenging emotions can alleviate suffering and make it easier to understand your situation. In a private and confidential setting with your counselor, you will be able to talk freely and openly about feelings that may not always be understood by family and friends.
Counseling requires a commitment to regular meetings with your counselor, typically once a week. Sessions will be held in a private setting, either at the ASK offices or via Zoom.
